Pam Rogers
I’m married to Jim Rogers for 27 years. We have a son named, Matthew and a new daughter-in-law, Desirae. My hometown is Beloit, Wisconsin. I graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1983, majoring in broad field Physical Education (K-12). I earned a M.A. in teaching from Grand Canyon University in 2000. I have been a Physical Education Teacher for Denver Public Schools since 1984. I’ve taught at Gilpin Extended Day School, Crofton Elementary, and Asbury Elementary. I am currently the Girls' Tennis coach at Denver South High. I have also coached boys' and girls' golf and volleyball there as well. In my free time I enjoy walking, playing tennis and golf and being with friends. In 1997, I received DPS Teacher of the Year Award for Denver Public Schools. In 2005, I received DPS, Mile High Teacher Award, and in 2007 DPS Boys' Golf Coach of the Year.
I’m starting my 20th year at Asbury, teaching Physical Education -- and I love every minute of it!! :)
